What happens when students want to learn something that doesn't exist in a course catalog? In today's schools, independent learning and developing proficiency go hand-in-hand. But, how can technology support student assessment and provide the vehicle for long-term project/research-based learning? This session will outline key components and lessons learned for teachers considering supporting personalized learning. I'll share results from our pilot last year and answer questions for what worked, and what needed improvement for you to do the same.
